Did you know SZA wrote “Feeling Myself” by Nicki Minaj and Beyonce’?

TDE’s 1st lady, SZA, wrote the lyrics to Nicki Minaj‘s “Feeling Myself” featuring Beyonce’ which is a song on the rapper’s 3rd album, The Pink Print. True fans of SZA know about the many talents that the freckly-faced, bushy-headed chic holds and is being recognized as more than just a singer but an artist: one who creates art and uses natural talents to convey a message or express feelings. In an interview with MTV, SZA says,”The call just got put in and then I arrived, I had no idea. Hit-Boy produced and I wrote the lyrics, so Nicki and Beyoncé are singing some of the things that I wrote to it.” She confirmed with swaysuniverse.com that she takes full credit for the lyrics and describes Beyonce’ as “perfect.”

This is a big deal for the “Teen Spirit” singer. It just may be her time to reach out to the people at a much bigger level. I mean, how many people do you know that can say “Yeah, I wrote that song for Beyonce back when I was 25.” Nobody you know probably.

God has a plan for Sza and I’m sure she’s ready. She signed with hip-hop team, TDE in 2013 after releasing the an EP called, See.Sza.Run. in the previous year. Since her signing with TDE, the songbird has performed at several small venues including some tour stops with hippy-chic, Jhene Aiko. Oh, and did you know that her name means Saviour or Allah? You can’t tell me she’s not divine. Go ahead my girl! Can’t wait til you release the album.

If you haven’t seen a SZA video yet, start with these:
