Virgil Abloh’s Off-White line is a modern mix of urban Streetwear and trendy high fashion. When the line was introduced to us a couple years ago, Abloh told Style.com, “I want to give my point of view and merge street sensibilities in a proper fashion context. I think that if I can merge the two, it’ll make something interesting.”
All the products’ manufacturing is based in Milan with a core value of the brand to be made from the best available and particular opinion regarding fabric, fit and fabrication.
For those of you who don’t know, since 2002, Mr. Abloh has been the creative director for Kanye West. He is an architect and an engineer, but he left a firm in Chicago to join Mr. West, and has since been recognized as an all-purpose cultural guru, whose work includes art-directing Mr. West’s tours and merchandise; D.J. appearances; his clothing store, RSVP Gallery, in Chicago; and a handful of fashion collaborations and collections of his own style.
The pictures above show Jay-z and Beyoncé at the Knicks game recently and Bey rocked a jacket and pants from the line.
